The world-famous watchmaker Richard Mille has recently unveiled its novel RM011 DLC Titanium "America’s White" Limited Edition watch, devoted to the Winter Olympics in North America.
The world premiere of the breathtaking watch will coincide in time with the lighting of the Olympic torch in Vancouver, which is scheduled for this February.
Issued as a limited series of 30 items, the Richard Mille watch will be commercialized solely and exclusively at the brand’s authorized retailers in North and South America.
The watch inner bezel, sub-dials and number markers of the watch are all accented by subtle touches of white, which, teamed with the brushed black DLC case, produce an impressive contrast effect. It is black titanium DLC treatment applied on the case that adds a “night” touch to the model.
The new Richard Mille watch comes with the brand’s iconic large tonneau-shaped case, which features the dimensions of 50 mm x 40 mm x 16.5 mm. The case houses a skeletonized self-winding movement, which incorporates an adjustable rotor. Apart from the functions of indicating hours, minutes and seconds, this timekeeper also provides those of chronograph, 60-minute countdown timer, as well as large date and month. The latter offers an annual calendar function of automatic adjustment for months of 30 or 31 days.
As it was mentioned above, the RM011 DLC Titanium America’s White Limited Edition watch incorporates chronograph functions, which are crucial for both athletes and sports enthusiasts. The white details, generously exposed on the dial, crown, hands and numerals of the RM 011 watch, reviewed by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, resemble snow, resting on the slopes of Whistler, British Columbia, at the time, when the Olympics start.
