The house of Richard Mille is excited to unveil its new RM 055 Jackie Chan Toubrilon unique watch, which will be put up for an auction to be held on September, 14th, in Beijing. The funds raised will be donated to the Jackie Chan Dragon's Heart Foundation, which activity is aimed at assisting Chinese students in poverty-stricken areas.

The new Richard Mille watch employs a classic RM 55 tonneau-shaped case, which boasts the dimensions of 48.18 x 39.7mm. It is interpreted in white gold. The case-back features a “Foundation Jackie Chan” engraving.

Last weekend Richard Mille served as an official sponsor of the British Polo Day Charity Cup. The event was held by Lord and Lady Lloyd Webber at their Berkshire Estate, Watership Down.

Pablo MacDonough, the leader of the Richard Mille Polo Team, played against His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales. The competition was aimed at raising funds for the Sentebale and the Tusk Trust charities.

Founded by prince Harry, the Sentebale offers support to orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho. The Tusk Trust, set up by The Duke of Cambridge, is in charge of community development programs right across Africa.

Based on the highly successful RM 025 tourbillion chronograph, the brand’s first diver’s watch, the new watch has inherited its forerunner's powerfully-designed round case that is now smaller in diameter and measures 47 mm.

The diver’s watch, corresponding to diver’s watch ISO norms 6425, guarantees 300-meter water-resistance. The remarkable water-resistance is guaranteed with help of a three-part case construction and torque screws. The watch has the lugs fully integrated into the case system.

The famous watchmaker Richard Mille has inaugurated its new flagship boutique in Beijing. This impressive store sprawls out to cover 260 square meters of space in the 5-star Legendale Hotel, located on Jin Bao Street. This area is considered to be a symbol of European elegance and luxury, placed in the center of China’s capital.

Due to this magnificent flagship store’s advantageous location, Sparkle Roll Group Limited, the exclusive dealer of Richard Mille in China, avoided expenses in the course of its creation. 45 million HK dollars was invested in establishing this boutique: it implied providing raw materials, watch displays and more. All the equipment, necessary for fitting the store, was delivered from Paris.

The hotel facade reminds that of the 17th century architecture of Southern Europe. On the contrary, the Richard Mille’s interior looks extremely up-to-date with the black color, dominating in the design of the store. In fact, the bold combination of the old and the new is a true incarnation of the brand’s spirit.

The horological company Richard Mille has earned its fame by manufacturing high-end, luxury sports timepieces, inspired by F1 competitions. Thus, the novel RM10 Titanium Black Skeleton watch, representing a combination of sporty style and the most recent accomplishments in the watch-making industry, reflects the traditional character of Richard Mille’s watches.

The RM10 watch is animated by the self-winding in-house made movement. It was manufactured and assembled at the famous AP Renaud and Papi factory, located in Le Locle.

The components of the transparent movement feature PVD-treatment, which considerably contributes to the watch visual attraction. The case exterior demonstrates a sporty high-tech black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating. Alluring in its appearance, this treatment also ensures avoiding the risk of scratching.

Manufactured from hand-ground grade 2 titanium, the bottom plate, balance cock and bridges are wet sandblasted and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coated in order to create a perfect black finish, which enhances the beauty of this sportive watch.

The usage of high grade 2 titanium and PVD-treatment also provides the movement with a necessary level of durability and a surface flatness, which are vital for the impeccable functionality of the gear train.

The DLC and PVD treatments, employed in the manufacture of both the case and the movement, are an eloquent demonstration of the technology being applied for creating an attractive form and contributing to peerless performance.

The RM005-S Calibre movement features a balance wheel, which beats at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch case measures the dimensions of 48 mm x 39.30 mm x 13.84 mm.

Richard Mille has created a unique equation of time pendulum clock to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Quebec's foundation. The clock, being over three-meter high, reflects the contemporary spirit of all Richard Mille timekeeping creations. It draws attention to the structural beauty of fine mechanics.

Richard Mille's astronomic clock displays a range of complicated features. The list includes the following: a second time zone, a perpetual calendar, a constant force winding system, and an equation of time indicating the difference between mean solar time and civil time.

The Republic and Canton of Jura commissioned Richard Mille to create a one-of-a-kind clock for Quebec, to represent a token of friendship and pay tribute to a shared French-speaking culture.

The clock was unveiled at an official presentation ceremony held at the Francophone Summit in Quebec on October 18 - 19. Everyone interested may see the remarkable creation on permanent display at Montreal's Bibliotheque Gabrielle Roy.

Richard Mille has already participated in a number of other horological projects. In 2007, Richard Mille unveiled a unique Planetarium Tellurium developed in cooperation with renowned watchmakers Robert Greubel and Steven Forsey.

The close partnership of Richard Mille and Felipe Massa was marked by the release of two innovative limited series models - the Felipe Massa RM 004-V2 (restricted to 40 items) and the Felipe Massa RM 008-V2 (restricted to 10 items).

Both interpretations’ flanges demonstrate the colors of the Brazilian flag and their crowns expose red collars.

In 2004, it was quite venturesome of Felipe Massa to drive a Grand Prix race, wearing a Richard Mille tourbillon on his wrist, the RM 006 FM. This model, absolutely novel, was the first to use a plate manufactured from nanofibers in an extremely durable isotropic composite material.

Felipe Massa, the Ferrari Formula 1 team’s Brazilian driver, and friend of Richard Mille, got down to the "test drive" of Richard Mille timepieces in 2006.

Richard Mille launches now RM 011 model, performed in red gold for the series America, a special limited edition of 30 items.

The RM 011 Felipe Massa America Edition was performed in red gold, with red color accents on the timepiece dial as well as the crown.

The case sizes are 50 mm x 40 mm with a maximum value of width equal to 16.15 mm. The central core is made up by titanium with a DLC treatment.

The size RM011S demonstrates some technical novelties. An adjustable geometry skeletonized rotor, a flyback chronograph with hours, minutes and seconds, and 60 minute countdown, 12-hour totalizer, a big date, month and annual calendar are among them.

The annual calendar of the Richard Mille watch automatically takes into account 30 and 31 days months. The semi- instantaneous big date is shown in a horizontal opening framed in red below the 12. Arabic numerals at 4:30 serve indicators of a semi-instantaneous month.

The Le Mans Classic, to be held on the 11, 12, 13 July 2008, will take place again on the historic track of the Le Mans 24 Hours, where some of the greatest drivers and cars have created motor racing history. The Richard Mille RM 020 has become the first ever pocket watch that incorporated a non-metallic movement plate produced from carbon nanofiber, the material initially applied in U.S. Air force jets, and characterized by high mechanical, physical and chemical stability.
