Richard Mille has proudly released its new RM 037 watch. The novelty will experience its world premiere within the framework of the SIHH 2012 event, to be held from January 16th to January 20th.
Beating at the heart of the new Richard Mille watch is a new manufactory-made automatic CRMA1 caliber movement. It is rendered in skeletonized grade 5 titanium and supplies a 50-hour power reserve.
Another subtle identifier of the model is a novel crown mechanism. A special construction, with the crown separated from the case, prevents losing the crown or breaking the stem in the movement.
Made of titanium, red or white gold, the crown is joined by the brand’s signature pusher at 4 o’clock. It is meant for winding, neutral and manual setting functions. The second pusher, located at 10 o’clock, is used to adjust a date indicator.
The new Richard Mille RM 037 watch boasts a skeletonized dial. It indicates central hours and minutes. The date is presented at 12 o’clock. Additionally, the display also offers an active-function indicator at 4 o’clock. The watch face also reveals dot-shaped hour-markers and Roman numerals.
The dial is embraced by the brand’s emblematic tonneau-shaped case. Its elegant bezel is secured by 12 imposing screws. The water-resistance of the new Richard Mille watch is assured down to 50 meters.
