Jaeger-LeCoultre has offered its faithful admirers a wonderful opportunity to discover its new Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT Palermo Open watch, created in collaboration with a professional polo player Adolfo Cambiaso.The novel watch has adopted a square-shaped rubber-coated case, crafted either from rose gold or stainless steel. It features the dimensions of 50.5 mm x 34.9 mm. The case carries a bezel, sculptured in rose gold or stainless steel partly coated with black rubber.
On its front side the case of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch is assembled with a high-grade sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating. Its back side is also equipped with a sapphire crystal. The timepiece provides 50-meter water-resistance.
The functions of this remarkable watch are immediate and clear on the black dial. It is completed with large Arabic numerals.
Gliding smoothly over them are hour, minutes and seconds hands, rendered in rose gold or stainless steel. The display also comprises a tri-compass chronograph as well as a date exhibition window, located at 12 o’clock.
The interior life of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT Palermo Open watch is represented by the manufactory-made self-winding Calibre 754 movement. Made up of 296 individual parts, the mechanism operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a lengthy 65-hour power reserve.
The caliber incorporates a column-wheel chronograph complication. Alongside with other indications, it also drives a second time-zone function, displayed on the see-through case-back. The final touch is provided by a rugged strap, produced from synthetic fabric.
The rose gold version of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre watch will be issued in a limited series of just 500 pieces. The stainless steel interpretation, meanwhile, will be put up for sale in unlimited number.
