Movado Red Label Skymap Watch – Enjoy Sky of Switzerland

Apr 12, 2012
Movado gladdens its fans by the introduction of its new Red Label Skymap watch. The timepiece paralyzes the glance by its dial that demonstrates a star-map of Switzerland’s summer sky. The bigger stars are glowing due to Superluminova coating.

The case of the new Movado watch, 42mm in diameter, is sculptured in stainless steel or steel provided with black PVD treatment. The face of the timepiece is protected by an antireflective sapphire crystal, the same as the case-back. The case construction is 30-meter water-resistant.

The case houses a Swiss-made automatic movement - Sellita SW300. The mechanism, built with 21 jewels, incorporates a Dubois Depraz caliber DD9234 moon-phase complication and a Movado rotor in red.

The dial of the Red Label Symap watch is available in different colors - in black, blue or grey. It catches attention by a small moon-phase window at 10 o’clock. The date sub-dial is positioned at 6 o’clock. The time is indicated by slender silvery skeleton hands. The intricate look of the dial is finished by the brand’s signature concave dot at 12 o’clock and red inscription.

The Movado Red Label Skymap watch is teamed with a glossy black or matte blue or grey genuine alligator leather strap, naturally matching the color of the dial. It is fitted with a classic tongue buckle.
