Rebellion Creates Bold REB-7 Watch

May 10, 2010
In the challenging world of horology the Regulator timepiece has attained the status of a reference clock, used for adjusting the accuracy of all other clocks and watches.

Now, the Rebellion brand is proud to introduce its amazing REB-7 watch created by the esteemed watchmaker Laurent Besse. The blue interpretation of this timekeeper inherited the traditional Regulator design reinterpreted in a modern way.

This new creation from Rebellion is available with a steel case distinguished by its modular construction. The case frames an attractive dial, which proudly shows off the following indications: central minutes and seconds, hours, presented in a counter at 12 oclock, as well as an oversized date, displayed at 6 oclock.

Protecting the dial is a curved sapphire crystal, anti-reflective on both sides. The watch is also fitted with a transparent case-back.

The accurate timekeeping of this horological marvel is ensured by a self-winding regulator movement - calibre REB-7. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve. Paved with 23 jewels, this mechanism is equipped with galvanic black gold plates, a back gold date ring and gold plated wheels.

The novel Rebellion watch is presented on a natural rubber strap, which joins to a double folding buckle, coordinating perfectly with the case metal. Its water-resistance is down to 100 meters.

Highly advanced from the technological standpoint, the bold Rebellion REB-7 watch also exudes a powerful aesthetic appeal.
