Rebellion RE-2 Flyback Chronograph

Aug 10, 2009
The RE-2 was initially unveiled in 2008. Now the timepiece is created in an exclusive new version. The case of the watch has become even more powerful, having been reexamined and reworked to every minor detail by famous watch designer Eric Giroud.

The RE-2 demonstrates Rebellion's signature helice screw heads. The crown, now larger in diameter, has become more masculine and more comfortable-to-use. The case also incorporates new highly attractive wedge-shaped chronograph pushers.

The RE-2 case features a number of exclusive details - the crown is provided with natural rubber grips and you will notice original slots in the pushers. The silky smooth operation of the pushers on a column-wheel chronograph has won the hearts of a whole army of fine watch complications’ aficionados.

The RE-2 case, sculptured from stainless steel, demonstrates modular sandwich construction. It is built from 45 components. The sapphire crystal with compound curves and bevelled edges is provided with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The case construction is 100-meter water-resistant. It is coupled with a natural rubber strap fitted with a deployment buckle.

The watch accommodates the RE-2 Caliber, a column-wheel chronograph mechanism offering the date function. The automatic movement, incorporating a decorated solid gold rotor, oscillates at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The Rebellion RE-2 Flyback chronograph watch is destined to enjoy great success among discerning collectors.
