May 02, 2011
The timepiece maker Ralph Lauren gladly unveils its new Slim Classique Square watch. It portrays a square design whose inspiration was found in the grand era of Art Deco style.

The new Ralph Lauren watch is delivered in a 27.5mm case. It is crafted from polished 18K white gold. The winding crown at 3 oclock is made of the same material.

The front side of the case is covered by a flat sapphire crystal with external and internal colorless anti-reflective coating. The model is built to be 30-meter water-resistant.

The new Ralph Lauren Slim Classique Square watch boasts a silvery opaline dial with concentric squares.

It is equipped with Roman and Arabic printed numbers. The display tells hours and minutes, indicated by shiny black, oxidized Breguet-style hands.

Driving the functions is a hand-wound mechanical caliber RL430 movement, made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren. It is decorated with Vertical Cotes de Geneve pattern and Perlage circular graining.

Composed of 131 individual parts, the mechanism operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 40-hour power reserve.

The new Ralph Lauren watchis teamed with a black alligator leather strap with a black leather lining. It is finalized by a polished 18K white gold pin buckle.
