The case of the watch is crafted from steel. The case construction has a steel case-back fitted with steel screws, a steel crown and pushers. The case is fully covered by a black metalized sapphire crystal. Its domed profile allows the watch to perfectly match the shape of the wrist and provide supreme comfort of wearing.

The Rado watch family has been joined by a new exclusive timepiece - the
True Chronograph Platinum Matt watch. The timepiece will be among novelties unveiled at Baselworld 2009.
The unique feature of the watch is the
ceramic case that demonstrates the color of platinum with a matt aspect due to the use of a sophisticated coating technique. The ceramic absorbs the light and gets deep grey-brown shades. The case construction incorporates ceramic crown and push-pieces. The composite case back is screwed down with 8 titanium screws.
The
grey dial of the new Rado watch is provided with galvanic white coating. It is completed with split-seconds chronograph counters – for hours, 1/10 seconds and small seconds found at 10, 2 and 6 o'clock respectively. The circular date window is positioned at 4 o'clock.
