At Baselworld 2010, the famous watchmaking house Bedat & Co introduced new additions to its acclaimed No2 collection - the Ref. 227.070.910 and Ref. 228.050.909 timepieces.The novel Bedat & Co lady’s watches immediately grab attention by a multitude of distinctive finishing details, including original gem-setting, brilliant hour-markers, Art Deco-encouraged graphic design, as well as mother-of-pearl dials.
The first model, Ref. 227.070.910, is proposed with a stainless steel case, which measures 26.5 mm in diameter. It is outfitted with a bezel paved with 26 sparkling diamonds. The overall weight of the precious stones constitutes approximately 0.26 carats.
The watch case is complimented by an alluring mother-of-pearl dial. Pointing to the hours and minutes are Bedat & Co nickel hands.
The charming novelty is powered by a quartz movement - ETA caliber 51/2 976.001. It brings to life the functions of hours and minutes.
Fitting the elegant lady’s watch is a rolled-edge hand-stitched alligator leather strap, which joins to a stainless steel folding buckle. The timepiece is 50-meter water-resistant.
The second lady’s watch, Ref. 228.050.909, is available with a 36.5 mm case, also rendered in stainless steel. It features an internal and external bezel with a setting of 195 glaring diamonds. Housed in the watch case is a mother-of-pearl dial. It is equipped with black Roman numerals. Besides, it reveals 6 diamonds, which substitute for hour markers. Traveling over them are Bedat & Co blued steel hands.
Ticking inside the new Bedat & Co lady’s watch is a quartz movement - ETA caliber 73/4 956.102. It serves to display the functions of hours and minutes.
The precious watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a rolled-edge hand-stitched alligator leather strap, finished with a stainless steel folding buckle. Its water-resistance is down to 50 meters.
