It is the watchmaking house Porsche Design, which thirty years ago redefined the frontiers of technical accomplishment by unveiling the first chronograph watch, sculptured in titanium.

The famous brand doesn’t rest on its laurels and now it is delighted to present a new interpretation of the acclaimed model. The novel Heritage P’6530 watch remains faithful to the brand’s identifying feature: it is entirely clothed in shot-blasted titanium, highly resistant to corrosion.

Similar to its legendary predecessor, the new Porsche Design watch is characterized by pure lines and integrated push-pieces. The only thing, which sets this timepiece apart, is the diameter of its case, increased to 44 mm. The P'6920 Rattrapante Chronograph is a new sporty timepiece from Porsche Design. The highly masculine watch, equipped with a mechanical movement, will be unveiled at Baselworld 2009.

The P'6920 Rattrapante can measure intermediate times due to the split-second mechanism. First, the watch wearer has to start the chronograph by pressing the push-piece found at 2 o’clock and the two superimposed central seconds hands start to move.

When the watch wearer presses the push-piece on the left, the lower seconds hand stops, indicating the first intermediate time. When the push-piece on the left is pressed again, the first hand catches up with the second hand and continues moving in synchrony. At "Red Dot Design Award" Competition 2008 held in Essen, Germany, Porsche Design has proudly received honors for its exceptional products, including the P'6750 Worldtimer watch.

The Porsche Design Worldtimer watch features a matte or black-finished titanium case coupled with a decorated rubber strap. The case construction has incorporated a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and two knurled crowns. The timepiece is 100-meter water resistant.

The watch houses a self-winding movement with a dual-timezone display featuring reference world cities. A special module, elaborated by Eterna exclusively for Porsche Design, allows to adjust the display of the city and hour instantaneously, maintaining the perfect accuracy of the time display.

The flat case back reveals an engraving of a circular reference table, indicating 24 reference cities with corresponding abbreviations.
