Admire Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Watch

Oct 10, 2012
Maurice Lacroix launches its new divers chronograph the Pontos S watch. The novelty demonstrates a modern design that makes one feel the perfect balance of form and function.

The stainless steel case measures 43 mm in diameter. It boasts 200-meter water-resistance. The shape of the winding crown and pushers provides easy gripping.

The dial is framed by an internal black rotating bezel rendered in brushed aluminium. The innovative bezel has been created not only for a streamlined aesthetic but also for minimised wear. The brand has filed a patent for this feature.

The black sunbrushed dial indicates the time with help of applied hourmarkers and diamond-polished hands provided with Superluminova coating. The chronograph counters are visually balanced and easy to read. The 12-hour counter is found at 6 o'clock, 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, while the small seconds counter is located at 9 o'clock. The date window is positioned at 6 o'clock.

The dial is shielded by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.

The new Maurice Lacroix watch is animated by a mechanical automatic movement - Calibre ML112 based on the Valjoux 7750 famous for its utmost performance and precision. The 25-jewel movement, oscillating at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers 46 hours of power reserve.

The new Maurice Lacroix Pontos S watch is secured to the wrist on a NATO nylon strap fitted with a steel buckle, or a triple-row steel bracelet equipped with a double security folding clasp and extension system that allows to wear the watch over a diving suit.
