The Pontos Decentrique Phases de Lune watch demonstrates a one-of-a-kind time display. At 10 o’clock, you will notice an off-centre dial with a unique single hand keeping track of the minutes and the dragging hours displayed with help of a disk.
At 4 o’clock, the main dial features two superposed disks displaying the phases of the moon and indicating day and night.
Yet, the true zest of the dial is presented at 6 o’clock - the dial clearly displays the date in a metalized sapphire crystal window on a disk based on the patented return system conceived exclusively in-house. The big-size hour numerals and minute hand are provided with white Superluminova coating that produces a blue luminescent effect.
The heart of the Maurice Lacroix watch is an automatic mechanical movement - ML 122 calibre. Beating to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the 28-jewel movement offers a 38-hour power reserve. The movement demonstrates fine decorative elements, including rhodium-plated, circular-grained, manually decorated and snailed finishing with Cotes de Geneve pattern.
The case of the watch is crafted from titanium and reveals sand-blasted finishing. It measures 45 mm in diameter and incorporates a convex sapphire crystal provided with anti-reflective coating on both sides over the dial. The screw-down sapphire crystal case back features an individual number. The timepiece is 50-meter water-resistant.
The Maurice Lacroix Pontos Decentrique Phases de Lune watch is presented on a black genuine alligator strap with black calfskin lining. It is fitted with a titanium folding clasp.
The sophisticated timepiece is available in a limited edition of 500 pieces.
