With its new watch, Nivrel creates its own reality. Such a technological feat could not be achieved without close cooperation of highly qualified specialists within the manufacture. Their joint efforts led to the creation of the extraordinary diving instrument, which relies on a Swiss-made hand-wound movement. Equipped with a one-minute tourbillon and a double barrel, this mechanism provides a respectable power reserve of 120 hours.
This high-grade movement animates the essential functions of displaying hours, minutes in the center and seconds, shown through the moving tourbillon cage. The additional function is represented by the retrograde date indication.
The entire mechanism is enclosed in a steel 316 L case, which measures 42 mm in diameter. The timepiece is outlined by a golden anticlockwise rotating diving bezel, which securely holds a sapphire crystal. The case features a crown, marked with the letter N. The brand’s craftsmen have also given their latest creation a particularly elegant screwed case-back, which bears a shark engraving.
A true accomplishment in the field of watchmaking, the Nivrel Plongeur Shark Sea watch is water-resistant to 300 bar. This capacity to resist extreme pressure goes far beyond the current standards.
Adding the final note of harmony to the appearance of the new Nivrel watch is an imposing bracelet, crafted from steel and 18 ct. gold. It is equipped with a safety folding clasp and a built-in band extension system to enable the user to wear the timepiece on a diving suit.
