The acclaimed Pirata collection, manufactured by Cuervo y Sobrinos, is delighted to welcome the new Pirata Complete Calendar limited edition watch.
Offered in limited series of just 200 pieces, the new Cuervo y Sobrinos watch employs a powerful case, measuring 45 mm in diameter. It is skillfully rendered in titanium, steel and bronze.
The case is equipped with a massive winding crown, positioned at 3 o’clock. The crown is joined by two charismatic chronograph pushers, featured at 2 and 4 o’clock. All three elements coordinate perfectly with sophisticated lugs, secured by neat screws.
The new Pirata Complete Calendar limited edition watch shows off a functional and attractive dial, clothed in black. It produces stunning contrasts with a light-toned character of the bezel.
The dial is completed with dot-shaped hour-markers. Tipped with a coat of luminous compound, they ensure a high level of night time readability. Circulating serenely over them are central skeletonized hour and minutes hands, also inlaid with a luminescent substance. They are supported by a slender chronograph seconds hand.
The fourth hand, presented on the display, is in charge of date indication. It travels over Arabic numerals, arrayed on the extremity of the watch face. Responsible for indicating seconds is a counter, nestled at 9 o’clock.
A 30-minute sub-dial, teamed with two apertures for showing a month and a day of the week, is located at 12 o’clock. It is visually balanced by a 12-hour counter, nestled at 6 o’clock. The latter is allied with a moon phase complication and a date/night indicator. Completing the successful design of the dial is a counter at 3 o’clock. It reveals the name of the company together with a place and a year of its foundation.
Ticking inside the model is a self-winding ETA Valjoux 7751 movement. The new Cuervo y Sobrinos watch is delivered on a dark rubber strap, embellished with a light brown stitching.
