Pierre Deroche is glad to deliver its new TNT RendezVous mechanical watch with a magnificent poetic touch. The latter is achieved through a remarkable striking mechanism, based on two gongs. The moment the alarm is released, the hammers strike the gongs, giving birth to clear and loud sounds. One of them is a cathedral gong.
Alongside with this musical feature, the new Pierre Deroche watch provides the functions of hours, minutes and seconds. They are complimented by those of date and day/night display.
The hours and minutes are shown by means of centralized broad hands, tipped with arrows. They are supported by a slender seconds hand and an alarm hand.
Featuring a red arrow on its top, the last-mentioned hand is operated by an on/off push-piece, located at 4 o’clock. The date information is exposed in a counter, neatly arranged at 6 o’clock. It is visually balanced by a 24-hour indicator, presented at 12 o’clock.
The dial of the new Pierre Deroche TNT RendezVous watch is enclosed in a black PVD-treated titanium case, 45.5 mm in diameter. It is offset by a steel bezel. An impressive protected crown traditionally sits at 3 o’clock. Apart from the push-button at 4 o’clock, it also reveals push-pieces at 8 and 10 o’clock. The body of the timepiece demonstrates high-grade top and bottom sapphire crystals. The water-resistance of the watch is assured down to 100 meters.
The precise display of the time is guaranteed by an exclusive self-winding Dubois-Depraz calibre movement, artfully paved with 32 jewels. It incorporates an engraved circular rotor and bridges, embellished with a sunray pattern.
Offered in a limited edition of just 201 pieces, the new Pierre Deroche watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist with an alligator leather strap, closed with a folding clasp. The audience can also enjoy an 18K pink gold, steel and titanium version, with production strictly limited to 21 pieces.
