Piaget Limelight Twice - Irresistible Luxury

Aug 18, 2009
In 2009, the renowned watchmaker Piaget has manufactured its novel timepiece, the Limelight Twice, totally consistent with the concept of the brand’s previous spectacular lines. This watch demonstrates an asymmetric design, standing out due to its “heads and tail” dual nature. It depends on the wearer’s mood, which side of the model to show: the modest or the flashy one.

The watch is powered by two individual Piaget 56P quartz movements, which allow the watch faces to display two different time-zones.

While creating this “head and tails” model, the watchmaking house Piaget introduced its own set of technical surprises, embracing a novel integration mode for the case and the bracelet, as well as a hidden push-button, intended for setting the time.

There are three models offered: two of them are accompanied by a black satin strap and the third comes with a gold and diamonds bracelet.

In the simple interpretation of the Limelight Twice Ref. G0A34136 model by Piaget, the “tails” side is presented in a round timepiece, which illusive shape is created by the pleated effect of the sunburst guilloche worked 18-carat polished white gold. The watch case demonstrates up-to-date, pure and soft lines, while a refined black dial is located at 6 o’clock.

The watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a black satin strap with an 18-carat polished white gold integrated clasp.

The “heads” side of this timepiece
reveals a row of 52 brilliant-cut diamonds, lighting up the white dial. The latter demonstrates exceptional Roman numerals, which emphasize the hands’ off-centered location at 12 o’clock.

Fitting this model is a black satin strap with 18-carat white gold integrated clasp paved with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds.
