Meet Piaget Altiplano Skeleton Black PVD Watch

Jul 01, 2011
Piaget has released its new one-of-a-kind Altiplano Skeleton Black PVD watch, to be officially unveiled at the Only Watch 2011 event. All the proceeds raised from the auction will be donated to support research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Extremely appealing, the new Piaget watch employs an 18-carat white gold case with a black PVD treatment.

The model is constructed around the brands proprietary ultra-thin mechanical hand-wound 838P movement with a black PVD coating. It boasts a sunray guilloche motif and 4N pink gold screws. The main plate and bridges are beveled, drawn out with a file and circular-grained by hand.

The display of the new Piaget Altiplano Skeleton Black PVD watch offers central hours and minutes as well as small seconds, featured at 10 oclock. All the functions are indicated by polished Dauphine hands with pink gold finishing.

A black alligator leather strap with a black PVD-treated 18-carat white gold pin buckle completes the features of the new Piaget watch.
