Patek Philippe Calatrava watches are created in the best traditions of refined classical watchmaking. In 2009, the collection has been joined by a new exclusive timepiece - the new Calatrava Officier Ref. 5153. The 18K yellow gold case is of a complex nature. It measures 38 mm in diameter. The case incorporates a Bassine-style bezel and a signature turban-shaped crown. The horns with rounded ends feature visible screw attachments. The sapphire crystal case back is protected by a hinged anti-dust cover.
The Calatrava Officier watch is equipped with the manufactory-made 324 Central Second calibre. Besides the traditional hours, minutes and seconds, the timepiece provides the date function presented via a window at 3 o’clock.
The finely worked opaline dial demonstrates a hand-guilloche centre and is completed with gold applique hour-markers.
The timepiece offers water-resistance to 30 meters.
