Panerai

The
Mare Nostrum watch is the most enigmatical of all Panerai models officially unveiled at the
2010 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH).
This impressive creation is a worthy homage to the history of the brand. In 1943,
Officine Panerai supplied the Mare Nostrum chronograph to the Italian Navy. Because of the ongoing historical events, the further development of the model became impossible.
Now, Panerai has come up with the idea of recreating the Mare Nostrum watch, and the new version is based on the original with utmost attention to the smallest detail. It has been issued as limited series of just 99 items.
The reproduced
Panerai Mare Nostrum watch is offered with a 52 mm case, rendered in AISI 316L brushed steel.

The P.999, characterized by reliability, robustness and precision, has a special structure with wide separated bridges, a distinctive feature of all the other manufacture calibers.
