Christened P'6780 Diver, the latest Porsche Design watch is immediately distinguishable due to the exclusive and extremely intricate design of its three-part case. Sculptured in stainless steel, the circular 46.8 mm container is hinged into a bead-blasted titanium bridge structure, which is secured to the wearer’s wrist on a caoutchouc strap, fitted with a folding clasp.
The timepiece artfully plays with refined color contrasts: the silver-colored container pairs perfectly with the anthracite-grey titanium bridge structure. The strap is equipped with a special diving extension system, which allows the owner to wear the watch over a diving suit.
The watch case is complimented by a generous dial performed in black. It comprises oversized numeric and baton indices treated with a luminous compound for a perfect level of darkness visibility. Sweeping smoothly over them are large hands, also covered with luminescent coating. The date indication is arranged at 9 o’clock. The display also features a flange intended for setting the diving time. Marked with separate minute graduations, it rotates anti-clockwise around the perimeter of the dial.
In order to set the time, the user has to raise the container. Thus, the crown cannot be inadvertently turned and is protected against damage. The Porsche Design watch boasts 1000-meter water-resistance.
The accurate timekeeping of the P'6780 Diver watch is ensured by a mechanical self-winding movement - ETA 2892-A2 calibre. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a respectable power reserve of 42 hours.
The Porsche Design P’6780 Diver watch meets all the utilitarian needs that arise when exploring the marvels of the sub-aquatic world.
