The new Vacheron Constantin watch has maintained all the signature codes and characteristics of the flagship model initially unveiled in 1996. Pay attention to the distinctive bezel inspired by the Maltese Cross, the crown and screw-lock pushers, the soft iron cage used for the proper protection of the mechanical movement from magnetic fields of up to 25,000 A/m. One more important characteristic of the model is its water-resistance down to 150 meters.
The 42 mm case is mounted on a supple and comfortable steel bracelet featuring the links shaped like a half Maltese Cross.
The case-back of the chronograph holds a surprise – it is enhanced by a raised motif depicting the historical Amerigo Vespucci sailboat.

The heart of the timepiece is a mechanical self-winding chronograph movement - Calibre 1137. The 183-part mechanism, operating at the frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, offers a 40-hour power reserve. The movement animates the following functions: hours, minutes and small seconds at 6 o’clock, the chronograph function presented via a sweep seconds-hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock, as well as the date featured via a twin aperture at 12 o’clock.
The new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph watch is sure to be highly appreciated by true watch lovers due to its mechanical complexity and iconic design that make it belong to the field of Haute Horlogerie sports timepieces.
