For all those in love and those fond of Chet Baker’s music, Oris is pleased to present its new timepiece – the Chet Baker Limited Edition watch. It has been inspired by jazzy tunes of the famous musician and his hit My Funny Valentine.

The new Oris watch catches attention by a few original details. You will notice a treble clef located at 12 o’clock and “My Funny Valentine” musical stave printed under the dial flange. The case-back holds one more surprised – an engraving of the great jazzman’s silhouette with his trumpet. The timepiece will be available in a limited edition of 1929 pieces, hinting at Chet Baker’s year of birth.

The black dial shows the time with help of applied hour-markers and Superluminova-coated polished hands. The date window is found at 6 o’clock.

The 40 mm case of the novelty is rendered in stainless steel. It demonstrates finely crafted lines. The face is shielded by a sapphire crystal cambered on both sides and provided with an anti-reflective treatment on the inside.

The model offers precision timekeeping as it accommodates an automatic movement - Oris 733 module on Sellita SW 200 calibre. It animates the following functions: hours, minutes, seconds and date.

Oris, acting as the new timekeeper and Official Watch Partner of the RAID classic car rallies, is proud to unveil its new limited edition chronograph watch. The timepiece has been created to commemorate the 20th RAID Suisse-Paris. The dial design of the new Oris watch has been suggested by the dashboard of the 2009 rally winning car - a 1952 Jaguar XK 120.

It is interesting to mention that RAID was initiated by French car manufacturers as a quality test in Africa. But starting with 1991, it has been organized as a classic car rally in Switzerland and France, presently representing one of the biggest classic rallies in Europe.
