Mar 08, 2011
The Hawker Hunter is a British jet fighter aircraft of the 1950s and 1960s. Withdrawn from the service in 1994, it is still flown by the Swiss Hunter Team. It a group of former military pilots, sponsored by Oris.

In tribute to this legendary plane, Oris has released three extraordinary models - two for women and one for men. The new Oris Swiss Hunter Team PS Edition watch is proposed in a stainless steel case, which exudes a powerful aesthetic appeal. The ladyís version measures 38 mm in diameter, while the menís interpretation has a size of 44 mm.

Both front and backsides of the new Oris watch are fitted with convex sapphire crystals with internal anti-glare coating. The back part of the case is screwed-down. Its glass window is engraved with the Swiss Hunter Team logo. The case construction is 100-meter water-resistant.

The new model is adorned with a pure dial. It is done in anthracite or silver: the color of the menís and ladyís versions indicated respectively. The womenís interpretations boast 13 applied diamonds. The Arabic numerals and hour-markers on the ladyís watches are polished. On the versions for men they are coated with Superluminova compound.

The dial of the new Oris Swiss Hunter Team PS Edition watch ensures central hours, minutes and seconds. The seconds hand is counterweighted by the "Swiss cross" balance weight. The menís watch also offers a date indication, arranged at 3 oíclock. Animating the functions is a self-winding Oris 733 calibre movement.

The new Oris watch is mounted on a grey or dark brown calfskin leather strap with a buckle. It can be also accessorized with a stainless steel bracelet, closed with a folding clasp.
