The new Oris watch is set in a multi-piece titanium case. It features a unidirectional revolving top ring and a ceramic inlay with engraved 60-minute scale. On its front, the case reveals a domed sapphire crystal, with internal glare-proofed treatment. The back side is embossed with a special Manta Ray logo.
At 3 o’clock the case features a stainless steel screw-in crown. It is also equipped with an automatic helium valve, placed at 10 o’clock. This device allows helium to escape the timekeeper’s body during the decompression procedure without the sapphire crystal popping out of the case. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 300 meters.
The new Oris Maldives Limited Edition watch is adorned with a blue dial. It is completed with applied indices, inlaid with dark orange Superluminova compound. The display indicates central hours and minutes. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 9 o’clock. The date indication appears in the aperture at 3 o’clock.
A perfect instrument for serious divers, the new Oris watch is coupled with a multi-piece titanium metal bracelet, terminating in a folding clasp. It can be also accessorized with an easy adjustable black rubber strap.
