The Canadian skiing athlete Lauren Woolstencroft has greatly impressed true sport enthusiasts. She has taken gold in each of five events held within the framework of the Vancouver Paralympic Winter Games in March.

To mark this special occasion, the top Swiss watchmaker Omega, an official sponsor of the Games, bestowed this outstanding skier with the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watch.

Designed in a sportive and distinctive style, the watch catches and holds the gaze with its orange strap and matching unidirectional rotating bezel. Ticking inside this horological marvel is an Omega self-winding Co-Axial chronometer movement. It is housed in an imposing case, water-resistant down to 2000 feet.

This remarkable Omega watch was awarded to Ms. Woolstencroft in the course of a special ceremony, held at the brands exclusive Olympic Games Boutique in the luxurious Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The young woman pointed out that she was very much honored to be presented with such an incredible watch for her achievements at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. She also added she was really exciting to receive the Omega watch from the official timekeeper of the event.

As soon as the ceremony was over, Lauren Woolstencroft was photographed for the press and put her signature in the guest book of the Omega Boutique, which already contained the comments, made by the finest champions of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
