The official timekeeper of the Olympic Games for the 25th time, Omega has presented its commemorative model in two variations. The first version is rendered in 18 Ct red gold and stainless steel. It is attached to the wearer’s wrist by means of an integrated black leather strap. The second interpretation of the new Omega watch demonstrates a stainless steel case, joined to a bracelet, done in the same material.
The case of each model features polished and brushed surfaces and measures 44mm in diameter. Its top is protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective treatment. The case-back is engraved with the “London 2012” Olympic emblem. The water-resistance of the model is assured down to 150 meters.
The new Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 44 London Chronograph watch reveals a blue vertically striped teak-pattern dial - an emblematic element in the brand’s Aqua Terra collection. It indicates central hours and minutes. The small seconds are registered in a counter at 9 o’clock.
The chronograph features are presented through a 30-minute sub-dial at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock as well as a central seconds hand. The date indication is arranged in a round aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. The readability of the display is assured by a white Super-luminova substance, applied to polished and brushed 18 Ct gold central hands.
The model accommodates a manufactory-made automatic caliber 3313 chronograph movement. Its matchless accuracy and durability are assured by column wheel and co-axial escapement mechanisms. The caliber provides a 52-hour power reserve.
The new Omega watch will surely attract dynamic sport-oriented individuals.
