Meet New Bulgari Octo Watch

Aug 01, 2012
The world of exclusive watchmaking welcomes the Bulgari Octo watch.

If compared to the previous members of the Octo collection, the new Bulgari watch has become sleeker and has aquired a classier look.

The new in-house produced case (41.5 mm x 10.55 mm) is rendered in stainless steel or rose gold. The case and bezel boast 110 facets that are hand-finished and demonstrate alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces.

The elegant black dial is completed with black lacquered, pink gold or rhodium facetted applied hour-markers. The time is indicated by central hour, minute and seconds hands, with the hour and minute hands being skeletonized. The date aperture is positioned at 3 o'clock.

The Octo watch is animated by a self-winding mechanical movement - BVL 193 caliber. The 28-jewel mechanism, operating at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, offers 50 hours of power reserve. It has been given fine finishing - snailed bridges and Cotes-de Geneve pattern, chamfered and polished bridge edges, satin-brushed wheels, circular-grained mainplate, and polished pivots.

The new Bulgari Octo watch is secured to the wrist on a black alligator leather strap fitted with a steel or pink gold folding clasp. It is 100-meter water-resistant.
