Nixon Delivers Ceramic 42-20 Automatic Diving Watch

Apr 12, 2011
The American-based timepiece maker Nixon is pleased to bring forth its new Ceramic 42-20 automatic diving watch.

The new Nixon watch is offered in a 42 mm black or white case, round in shape. It is crafted from steel and ceramic. The case reveals a ceramic bezel, which encircles a top sapphire crystal. The model is also equipped with a hardened mineral back part. The winding crown is found at an unusual position at 9 oclock. The case is built to be 200-meter water-resistant.

The new Nixon Ceramic 42-20 automatic diving watch shows off a black or white dial. It is fitted with contrasting hour-markers and Arabic numerals. They are pointed at by hour, minute and second steel hands. The date indication is arranged in the aperture at 3 oclock.

Giving life to the functions is a Swiss made self-winding Sellita SW200 movement. Paved with 26 jewels, it oscillates at the rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 38-hour power reserve.

The new Nixon watch is teamed with a custom solid ceramic bracelet with individual screw pin links and a butterfly buckle.
