The new Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Silicon Escapement watch features the 43mm case sculptured in 18K red gold. The sophisticated partially opened dial shows the "Silicon Escapement" inscription directly below the skeleton blued hour and minute hands in steel. The Montblanc watch is 30-meter water-resistant.
The eye-paralyzing dial is created with multiple levels and two signature textures. The lower hemisphere is embellished with a guilloche pattern and shows off the unconventional small seconds and 30-minute chronograph discs. The Montblanc watch stands out from the crowd due to indicators rotating beneath stationary indicator hands.
As for the calendar disc, it is positioned in between and right above the chronograph discs. The date is indicated by an arrow-like dial section with a discreet red tip.
The watch owner will wind the watch and set the time and date with help of a large crown featuring the Montblanc star. The 30-minute chronograph disc may be stopped, started, and reset using the rectangular pusher on the left.
The sapphire crystal exhibition case-back reveals the complicated heart of the Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph watch - the in-house MB R120 movement. The chronograph mechanism incorporates a traditional column-wheel, and vertical clutch engagement for optimized accuracy and energy transmission. The movement also boasts beautiful finishing, including beveled bridge edges, and a Geneva-wave pattern.
The Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Silicon Escapement watch is presented on an alligator leather strap equipped with an 18K red gold folding clasp. It will be issued in a limited number of 25 pieces.
