Chopard Unveils New Imperiale Watches

Chopard is pleased to unveil its new Imperiale line based on the brand’s famous 1990s model. The watches from the line are destined at refined ladies with strong personalities who love the discreet luxury of beautiful objects.

The new Chopard Imperiale watches reveal a range of rare and precious elements inspired by the beauty of the imperial age. The creators of the watches have completely redesigned a number of design details, such as the signature lug covers.

The mother-of-pearl dial demonstrates delicate engravings in the central part. These engravings make one think of the embroidered cushions used by monarchs for their insignia. The dial is completed by Roman numerals and hour markers. The time is shown by elegantly curved hands that look like tapered daggers used by monarchs in combat. The case with pure, uncluttered sides incorporates a lotus-shaped crown.

The refined lugs are worth special attention – they are reminiscent of antique columns. The lugs of the rose gold versions are embellished with tiny amethyst briolette-cut cabochons, while the lugs of the white gold variations are adorned with blue sapphires. The stones feature gentle royal purple shade matching the color of the transfers on the dial.

The new Chopard Imperiale watches have been created in several sizes (36 or 40mm in diameter) and are animated by a quartz, self-winding or chronograph movement. The timepieces are sculptured in steel or in rose or white gold. The line comprises diamond-set or all-polished models. They are presented on a metal bracelet or a leather strap. All models are 50-meter water-resistant.
