Welcome New Mido Commander Watch

Feb 28, 2013
Mido presents a new version of its famous Commander watch. The novelty demonstrates new design features, yet maintaining the distinctive character of the collection.

The creation of the timepiece, with its architecture of curves and obliques, has been inspired by the Eiffel Tower perceived as a mark of true design.

The anthracite dial of the new Mido watch with sunburst satin finish is completed with applied hour-markers evoking the tower's struts. The time is indicated by Superluminova-coated hands. The day and date window is found at 3 o'clock.

The stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter. It is coupled with a satin-finished stainless steel bracelet equipped with a steel folding clasp. The face of the watch is shielded by a sapphire crystal.

At the heart of the case there ticks a reliable automatic mechanical movement - ETA 2836-2 calibre. With a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the 25-jewel mechanism provides a 38-hour power reserve. It is embellished with a Cotes-de-Geneve motif.

The new Mido Commander watch is 50-meter water-resistant.
