New Citizen Watch - Great Timekeeping Companion for Divers

Aug 29, 2008
The Citizen JV0010-08E watch has been created to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Aqualand model. The solar-powered dive watch features both analog and digital time display.

The Citizen watch is the first Aqualand to have incorporated Citizen's Eco-Drive solar technology, with no need to change a battery, as the unique technology allows the watch to absorb sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial, thus continuously getting recharged.

The watch corresponds to the latest trend for oversized watches - its nicely brushed finished stainless steel case with a complex shape measures 50 mm in diameter and is 17 mm thick. The weight of the timepiece is 135 g. It is 200-meter water-resistance, so this is a great watch for scuba-diving.

The case construction incorporates a high-polish stainless steel bezel, scratch resistant mineral glass crystal and a screw-back. The watch goes on a thick urethane strap equipped with the case-matching buckle.

The plastic buttons at the right side of the watch are textured and provided with raised dots for perfect user-friendliness.

The Citizen JV0010-08E watch provides a wide range of dive measurement functions:

  • digital depth display to 300 feet, including current and maximum displays;

  • depth and time of dive measurement (when you switch the watch to dive mode, the minute hand zips to 00 to start timing the dive);

  • current and lowest water temperature display;

  • surface interval measurement;

  • dive log memory for up to 20 dives.

The watch is equipped with the water and pressure sensors, so it automatically switches to the dive mode when taken to the depth more than 4 meters.

A great advantage of the watch is a power reserve from 6 months to 2.5 years, depending on the power save mode.

The Citizen quartz U10 module provides the accuracy to within 15 seconds per month.

With the Citizen watch you can find out the world time in 42 cities, 29 time zones. It also allows to track time in two different time zones.

Look through other advantageous features of the Citizen JV0010-08E watch:

  • three alarms,

  • 2/24-hour time display,

  • electro-luminescent backlighting for perfect visibility under low light conditions.

The stylish Citizen JV0010-08E is a highly recommended choice for professional divers. The large, colorful and easy-to-read watch offers most enjoyable timekeeping not only when you are diving but also on everyday basis. The price of the Citizen watch is quite affordable - around 450 dollars.
