Chopard Mille Miglia 2008 GT XL Chrono

The new Mille Miglia 2008 GT XL Chrono is a generously sized and resolutely dynamic timepiece born to excite motor sports enthusiasts.

The 44-mm steel case of the Chopard watch is crafted in steel or in 18K rose gold, having acquired sleek, resolutely sporting lines. The case construction features a screw-locked crown, integrated rectangular pushers and a tachometric scale. It boasts 100-meter water-resistance.

The silvery dial is completed with a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, and small seconds at 9 o'clock. The oversized '12' and '6' o'clock Arabic numerals are transferred beneath the sapphire crystal.

The perfect readability of the watch's face is created with help of Superluminova-coated hands and hour-markers. Red accent, the symbol color of the Mille Miglia, is featured on the tip of the central sweep second hand and is echoed on the famous race emblem. Fitted with a built-in sapphire lens, the date display is found at 3 o'clock, enhancing the overall harmony of the design.

Corresponding to the design codes of the Chopard watches entering the collection, the case-back of the Mille Miglia 2008 GT XL Chrono demonstrates the engraving of the route map of the Mille Miglia, the 1600-km road rally for vintage and classic cars from Brescia to Rome and back. The Chopard Manufacture has been associated with the legendary rally since 1988.

The Chopard Mille Miglia watch is equipped with a mechanical self-winding movement that guarantees the reliability and accuracy of an official COSC-chronometer. The mechanism is beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offering a 48-hour power reserve. The movement is equipped with a stop seconds device to allow extremely accurate time-setting.

The steel version of the Chopard Mille Miglia 2008 GT XL Chrono, created in limited editions of 2008 pieces, goes on a natural black rubber strap with the 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif. The18K rose gold variation, in a limited edition of 500 pieces, goes on a crocodile leather strap.

The new Mille Miglia GT XL GMT is one more timepiece created to continue the legend of the Chopard Mille Miglia. Graced by an original GMT indication, the Chopard watch has incorporated cutting-edge mechanics and sophisticated aesthetics.

The dial of the watch proudly features a dual time-zone indication and the 'globe' at the centre of the dial. The glance is immediately caught by the famous red arrow and the distinctive emblem of the legendary race. You will notice the oversized 12 and 6 o'clock Arabic numerals and the Superluminova hour-markers and the hour and minute hands.

The 44-mm case guarantees 100-meter water-resistance. The case construction is completed with a glare-proof sapphire crystal fitted with magnifying glass and a screw-locked crown with the Mille Miglia arrow stamp. The watch has accommodated a mechanical self-winding movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC, equipped with a stop seconds device for accurate time- setting. The mechanism provides 46-hour power-reserve. It displays the hours, minutes and central seconds, as well as a date window and a central second time-zone hand.

The watch is secured to the wrist with a natural rubber strap featuring the tread of the 1960's Dunlop Racing tyres.

The Mille Miglia GT XL GMT is available in a choice of steel (the black-dial version) or 18K rose gold (slate-grey dial-version). The timepiece may also go on a Barenia leather strap fitted with a steel or 18K rose gold folding clasp.


Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono Speed Black

The new Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono Speed Black is an ultra-trendy and powerfully expressive timepiece.

The watch is clad in the handsome shade of black. The black case is coupled with a black strap. The black dial sports black Superluminova-coated hands for offering supreme readability in the reduced light conditions. Even the famous Mille Miglia red emblem of the legendary race is interpreted in black and white.

The 44-mm case of the Chopard watch is crafted in DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) blackened steel. The case construction is scratch-resistant and 100-metre water-resistant. For adding greater depth and character to the timepiece, the dial of the watch showcases split-level chronograph counters. It is completed with oversized '6' and '12' o'clock numerals transferred beneath the sapphire crystal. The streamlined bezel engraved with tachometric scale and the pushers strengthen the sporty spirit of the watch.

The date function is presented with a built-in lens at 3 o'clock. The chronograph minute and hour counters are found at 12 and 6 o'clock respectively. The dial also has a central sweep seconds chronograph hand.

The Chopard Mille Miglia watch goes on a natural black rubber strap decorated with the 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif. The strap is fitted with folding clasp in DLC blackened steel.
