The S05 collection has been inspired by a famous watch of Monsieur Armand Nicolet that was launched in the late 1930s and produced specifically for the army. The new S05 timepieces appeared as a result of thorough studies and tests performed by Armand Nicolet at the highest level in order to develop and produce complicated water-resistant sports watches with remarkable characteristics. The watches are equipped with mechanical automatic movements providing several functions.
The case of the Armand Nicolet S05 is sculptured from stainless steel and measures 44mm in diameter. The case construction is based on the technology of combining steel and rubber applied to protect the turning unidirectional bezel, the screwed crown (used for time-setting) and pushers from possible hits. One more advantage of this technology is a soft grip. The case construction also incorporates a sapphire crystal with antiglare treatment and screwed case back adorned with the brand’s signature leaping fish design. The timepieces are 200-meter water-resistant.
The dial of the new S05 watches is created in black, silvered or cream and completed with the distinctive applied orange luminous dots, Arabic numerals and hands.
