The timepiece is animated by an elaborate, nicely decorated automatic movement visible via the see-through case-back. The 25-jewel movement, beating at a frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, provides minimum 38 hours of power reserve. It demonstrates blued screws, decorated oscillating weight with Geneva stripes and engraved Mido logo.
The anthracite dial is embellished with vertical Geneva stripes. The dial guarantees supreme readability under any light conditions due to the use of white and orange Super-LumiNova on the hands, hour-markers and the rotating flange. An anti-reflecting sapphire crystal, treated on both sides, protects the dial.
The 42 mm case is rendered in satinated and polished stainless steel. The case-construction stands out by its two screw-down crowns. The 2 o’clock crown is to be used for adjusting the flange for measuring the immersion time. The 4 o’clock crown is for setting the time and winding.
The new Mido Multifort Two Crowns watch is also available in other variations:
- a rose PVD-treated steel case, brown dial and brown rubber strap,
- a black PVD-treated steel case, black and orange dial and black rubber strap.
It is the right timepiece for diving enthusiast in love with Swiss tradition and expertise.
