The last-mentioned feature is ensured by bold silver-colored Arabic numerals, presented on a black guilloche dial. The number at 3 o’clock is substituted by a date exhibition window.
Gliding over them are rhodium-plated steel hands, which serve to indicate hours, minutes and seconds. The hour and minutes hands are leaf-shaped. The audience can also enjoy a version with a silver-colored guilloche dial, featuring black numerals and blued hands.
As its name implies, the timepiece mentioned also provides a 24-hour second time-zone. Located closer to the center of the display, it represents a scale, equipped with Arabic numerals. The second time zone is possible to be read off from a central hand, finalized by a red arrow.
Beyond that, the dial of the new Star World-Time GMT watch boasts a rotating scale with 24 cities. Each city denotes a respective time zone.
All the functions are governed by an extra-large crown. It sits on the right side of the round-shaped 42 mm case, crafted from stainless steel. The case carries a matching bezel, which safely holds a high-grade sapphire crystal. The same glass protects the case-back. The construction of the timepiece is 30-meter water-resistant.
The model is built on a Swiss made automatic calibre MB 4810/405 movement. It beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and stores enough power to animate the watch for as long as 42 hours.
Visually inviting and extremely comfortable to wear, the new Montblanc watch is coupled with an elegant dark-toned leather strap.
