The stainless steel case of the new Montblanc watch measures 44mm in diameter. The case is completely covered in DLC, "Diamond Like Carbon" coating, a carbon material that possesses properties similar to those of diamond. This extremely scratch-resistant metal treatment provides the case of the sports watch with remarkable durability and stress- and corrosion-resistance.
The polished steel chronograph pushers and winding crown create distinctive contrast to the sober surface of the black case.
The case construction is 200-meter water-resistant. The graduated bezel of the watch rotates just counterclockwise, providing enough security for underwater adventures of divers.
The black dial of the watch is completed with polished sword-like luminous hands, and the chronograph counters. The sapphire crystal, protecting the dial, is provided with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
The Montblanc sports watch houses a self-winding mechanical movement with a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement guarantees a 48-hour power reserve.
The chronograph function of the watch is presented via a central chronograph seconds hand, and two counters for elapsed minutes and hours. You will also notice a date display under a magnifier on the sapphire crystal. The watch’s wearer can easily correct the date with help of the crown.
The Montblanc Automatic Sport Chronograph DLC watch is coupled with an alligator leather strap fitted with a triple-deployant stainless steel clasp that is DLC-treated. The retail price of the timepiece is expected to be 3950 Euros.
