Ulysse Nardin Monaco 2010 Marine Diver Watch in Limited Edition

Acting as an official sponsor of the Monaco Yacht Show for the second year, Ulysse Nardin has created a custom-designed wristwatch to commemorate the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the largest superyacht exhibition in the world. The limited-edition Monaco 2010 Marine Diver watch is to be introduced at the opening of the show to take place at September 22-25 at Port Hercules, Principality of Monaco.

The new Ulysse Nardin watch reflects the Ulysse Nardin’s unique nautical legacy in the field of high horology dating back to 1846 when the brand started to provide steering captains with its high-precision marine chronometers.

The stainless steel case of the Marine Diver watch, 45.8 mm in diameter, demonstrates a special treatment, having been subjected to a complicated vulcanization process. It has acquired a matte-black rubber coating for a bold sporty look and comfortable feel. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a diving scale. The case construction also incorporates a screw-down security crown.

The sapphire crystal case-back allows to drop a glance at a self-winding movement beating inside. The Caliber UN-26 is a 28-jewel movement that offers a 42-hour power-reserve.

The timepiece is water-resistant down to 200 meters.

The watch is decorated with a signature wave pattern on the dial, bezel and strap. The dial features the power-reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and the small seconds sub-dial with a round date window at 6 o’clock. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

The highly appealing look of the watch is enhanced by a black rubber bracelet fitted with an exclusive black ceramic folding clasp.

The Ulysse Nardin Monaco 2010 Marine Diver watch will be available in a limited series of 100 pieces destined at yachting enthusiasts and the Monaco Yacht Show’s industry leaders and private clientele.
