The Audemars Piguet contemporary Millenary collection welcomes the second self-winding chronograph, following the success of the first chronograph model within the collection introduced in 2009.

The new Audemars Piguet Millenary Chronograph watch is sculptured in 18K pink gold, having maintained the signature design codes of the collection.

The oval-shaped case demonstrates elegant satin-brushed and polished finishing. The case lugs are finely crafted they are polished on top and satin-brushed on the side. The case middle catches the glance by alternating polished surfaces, which match the polished bezel, and satin-brushed areas. You will notice that even the shaped chronograph pushers have been created with the same double treatment.

The case-back of the watch reveals a medallion with the Millenary logo. The timepiece is 20-meter water-resistant.

The self-winding chronograph movement, Calibre 2385, characterized by utmost reliability and accuracy, also boasts perfect finishing. All parts of the movement are meticulously decorated. It boasts a circular-grained and sandblasted mainplate, countersunk holes, as well as circular-grained bridges embellished with Cotes de Geneve.

With the balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, the movement gives an advantage of a 40-hour power reserve.

The off-centered dial of the Audemars Piguet watch, the signature feature of the collection, is completed with applied pink gold Roman numerals stretching nicely across a snailed silvered disc. The 18K pink gold hour and minute hands are provided with luminescent coating.

The tachometric scale is presented in white against a lacquered anthracite background and formed by Arabic numerals. It is meant to be used for measuring the speed of travel.

The eye-catching dial, with its play on light and dark contrasts, also demonstrates silvered chronograph and small seconds counters that add lively finishing touches to its overall. The 30-minute counter is presented as an off-centered oval. The red sweep seconds enhances the sporty appeal of the watch, reviewed by
