Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chrono 2012 Watch - For Devotees of Fine Mechanisms

Once again paying tribute to the prestigious historical car competition, Chopard gladly introduces its new Mille Miglia GMT Chrono 2012 watch. This year the event was held in Italy from May 17th to May 20th.

The novelty catches attention by its oversized counters providing perfect readability. It is animated by a mechanical self-winding movement, offering precision and reliability chronometer-certified by the COSC. You will surely appreciate an extremely useful dual time-zone function provided by the watch.

The new Chopard watch has been created in two limited edition versions - 2’012 pieces in steel, and 250 pieces in rose gold. The 42.4 mm case incorporates a satin-brushed crown guard. It is mounted on the one-of-a-kind natural rubber Dunlop Racing strap that stands out due to its signature 1960s racing tyre-tread motif.

The new Mille Miglia GMT Chronograph watch offers great readability. The chronograph counters positioned at 12 and 6 o’clock will make you think of the dashboard instruments of classic racing automobiles. Their big size, along with white hour-markers on the black dial, provide extremely fast and comfortable read-off. The sweep seconds hand in the center features the signature red arrow of the collection.

The mechanical self-winding movement is fitted with a stop seconds function for highly accurate time-setting, and animates a user-friendly dual time-zone display. You will notice the second hour hand, with a white arrow, that diaplays the time in the second time-zone with help of a 24-hour scale on the black bezel. Small seconds are presented at 9 o’clock, while the date window is located at 3 o’clock.


The Chopard Mille Miglia GMT Chrono 2012 watch is 50-meter water-resistant. The case-back reveals the emblematic “1000 Miglia” arrow and a nameplate featuring the limited-edition inscriptions.
