The new Maurice Lacroix watch comes packaged in a 43mm stainless steel case with a sand-blasted finish. The model is built to be 50-meter water-resistant. Its front side is shielded by a domed sapphire crystal with internal and external glare-proofed treatment. The screwed case-back is fitted with a sapphire crystal.
The wide glass opens up to the beholder’s eye a hand-wound mechanical ML 156 movement. It is endowed with a Grand Colimacon design, performed in the best Swiss watchmaking tradition. Developed in collaboration with the HE-ARC, the movement is produced and assembled by Maurice Lacroix.
Set with 34 jewels, the caliber beats to the rhythm of 18,000 vibrations per hour and provides a 45-hour power reserve. It incorporates square and cloverleaf-shaped wheels, manufactured from silicon. The particular originality of the movement lies in the Only Watch logo, presented on the square wheel. The logo is so tiny that it can be seen only with the help of a magnifying glass.
The movement animates an array of functions, presented on the main plate, which serves as a dial. Treated with black sand-blasted finish, it reveals raised polished indexes.
The display of the new Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Roue Carree Seconde watch ensures hours and minutes, indicated by PVD-coated black gold, diamond-polished hands. The same hand is responsible for the power reserve indication, featured at 3 o’clock. The small seconds are shown on a square wheel a 6 o’clock.
The new Maurice Lacroix watch is teamed with a matt black large-scale crocodile leather strap, lined with a black calfskin and black over-stitching. The strap terminates in a sand-blasted folding steel clasp with push-buttons.
