A new highly attractive TAG Heuer women’s watch, the Formula 1 Lady Steel & Ceramic, was officially presented in Japan on September 25 at the brand’s Ginza flagship.

The brand’s representatives in Japan, Giorgio Sarne and Antoine Pin, invited Maria Sharapova, the tennis superstar and TAG Heuer watches ambassador, to join the event.

Maria unveiled the new TAG Heuer watch to over 90 media and VIP customers, wearing the timepiece on her wrist.

The event was also attended by another beautiful celebrity Shizuka Arakawa, a professional ice skater and winner of the gold medal at Turin Olympic 2006. Shizuka was presented a TAG Heuer Lady Steel & Ceramic watch by Maria Sharapova as the winner of a Lady Award held by the brand.

The attractive design of the Formula 1 lady’s watch is a fine mixture of sports and elegance. The timepiece has been created in a variety of versions, in black or white, including diamond-embellished models for those ladies who cannot resist sparkling of diamonds.

The case of the celebrity watch, 37mm in diameter, is rendered in stainless steel and incorporates a bezel, in stainless steel and ceramiñ, completed with Arabic numerals. The dial details are provided with luminescent markers to guarantee fine readability in any light conditions. The bracelet of the watch is worth special attention – it is constructed from broad and slender parts in polished steel and in polished ceramic. It is equipped with a butterfly folding clasp and safety push buttons.

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Lady Steel & Ceramic watch, the choice of Maria Sharapova, accommodates a reliable Swiss quartz movement, offering the date function. It is water resistant down to 200 meters.
