Internationally famous Hong Kong-born actress Maggie Cheung Man-Yuk has been appointed as a new Piaget Ambassadress. The lady will represent the prominent Swiss brand while traveling throughout the world. Piaget CEO Philippe Leopold-Metzger was the one who announced the news about the noteworthy cooperation during a press conference held in Beinjing on March 26, 2008.

Maggie Cheung is one of the most talented Asian actresses. The gorgeous lady has acted in more than 70 films, including 'In the Mood for Love', 'Hero', and 'Center Stage'. The inborn charm and talents of the actress perfectly match Piaget's core values - the brand is highly respected as the producer of most tasteful watches and jewelry pieces.

The Piaget-Maggie-Cheung association seems all the more natural if to trace the destinies of the two stars - in fact, they have followed the same paths.

Maggie Cheung, at the age of 18, having finished her secondary school education, moved from the United Kingdom where she had grown up to her native city of Hong Kong.
