Vincent Berard LUVORENE 2
The name LUVORENE represents an anagram of Revolune that stands for three French words reve, lune and revolution translated as dream, moon, and revolution.
As Watches.InfoNIAC.com found out, the LUVORENE I wristwatch was inspired by the brand’s Quatre Saisons carriage clocks. The timekeeping creation stands out due to the form of its casing – it is round and domed, with the bulge on the side – a form actually inspired by a section of a column of Strasbourg Cathedral. Vincent Berard, following the steps of medieval master builders, has integrated the symbolic detail of the spindle or the mandorla that suggested the name of the collection - Fuseau de l’Infini, translated as Spindle of Infinity.
The oblong, sensual form is repeated boundlessly between the straight line and the circle. It is featured by the watch’s hollow hands, the indexes, the crown, the bars, as well as the bridges of the movement.
The new “LUVORENE 2” watch demonstrates a wider, 45 mm casing. Its transparent-sapphire blue face reflects the exquisite nature of the movement. The “mysterious” balance is found offset at 3 o’clock.
The unique Vincent Berard VB 441 movement boasts a plate and spindle-shaped bridges that are arranged in five stages, and are adorned by hand. It can be admired when you open the lid of the see-through bottom of the casing.
The new “LUVORENE 2” watch has been created in a few variations to mark the official opening of the brand’s new workshop. The range includes three models in white and red gold, as well as a one-of-a-kind model crafted in platinum.
Talismane, one more exclusive addition to Fuseau de l’Infini collection, is a not simply a timepiece – it is also a lucky charm. This timekeeping companion lacks both a strap and a chain. The watch has been created to fit perfectly into the palm of its owner’s hand and pop into any pocket.
The case of the watch measures 45 mm in diameter and is crafted in platinum. It is limited to just eight pieces.
The range also reflects the Four Seasons topic. The individual pieces, measuring 42 mm in size, are decorated by hand. The timepieces represent Spring (greenish-gold), Summer (yellow gold), Autumn (red gold) and Winter (white gold).
