Panerai Luminor 1950 8 Days Rattrapante Watch

Aug 07, 2009
The Panerai Luminor 1950 collection is highly appreciated among watch connoisseurs for its distinctively designed retro-themed timepieces. Now, the collection is expanded by the Panerai Luminor 1950 8 Days Rattrapante watch, ref. PAM00319. The timepiece is manufactured in a limited edition of just 300 pieces.

The new Panerai watch features a harmonious dial and is equipped with the brands exclusive in-house hand-wind movement, the Caliber P.2006/3.

The movement oscillates at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Having incorporated three barrels, the 356-part, 34-jewel movement provides an 8-day power reserve, presented via a linear power reserve indicator.

The movement also drives a column-wheel split-second 30-minute chronograph, and the small seconds featured via a sub-dial. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.

The visually-appealing movement is revealed via a sapphire crystal case-back window.

The matte black dial of the Panerai watch is completed by hour markers and Arabic numerals provided with green luminous coating. For the split second chronograph, the watch is equipped with two chronograph seconds hands in the center of the dial.

The case of the watch is sculptured in 18k pink gold and measures 47mm in diameter. The left side of the brushed-finished case features two buttons with polished edges - for the split-seconds function at 8 o'clock and for the chronograph functions at 10 o'clock. The crown is traditionally protected by the signature bridge, also in 18K brushed pink gold with a polished lever.
