Panerai Unveils Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT Taipei Limited Edition Watch

Panerai unveils a new limited edition timepiece – the Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT Taipei Limited Edition watch. The Panerai novelty pays tribute to the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan, one of the tallest buildings in the world, where the brand’s boutique is located.

The 44mm cushion-shaped case is sculptured from stainless steel. The case-construction is 100-meter water-resistant.

The matt black dial is completed with well-proportioned big "12", "6" and "9" numerals, while the rest of the numerals are smaller. You will notice the signature linear power reserve indicator found at 6 o’clock. The tiny date window is positioned at 3 o’clock, while the small seconds, along with the day/night indicator is featured at 9 o’clock. The arrow-tipped hand for the second time zone is positioned in the center.

Displaying the impressive range of functions, the dial still maintains supreme clarity.

The dial indications and the hands are provided with the Panerai luminescent coating. The face is shielded by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment.

The Panerai watch is animated by the brand’s in-house automatic movement - Calibre P2003. The movement offers an advantage of a remarkable 10-day power-reserve. The 296-part mechanism is beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The case-back holds a nice surprise - an engraving of the Taipei 100 building.

The Panerai Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT Taipei Limited Edition watch is secured to the wrist on a brown vintage leather strap decorated with contrast stitching. No wonder, the timepiece is limited to 101 pieces. It is expected to be available at the price of 17,250 US dollars.
