Louis Vuitton has joined the stream of limited edition watches by launching its new Tambour Regate Navy Automatic Flyback chronograph watch.
This marvelous creation has adopted a round-shaped stainless steel case, which boasts a diameter of 44 mm. It incorporates peculiarly shaped lugs and an elegant bezel, crafted from the same material.
Both front and back sides of the new Louis Vuitton watch are fitted with top quality sapphire crystals. The water-resistance of the case is ensured down to 100 meters.
An easy-to-grip winding crown is traditionally placed at 3 o’clock. The crown is supported by two chronograph pushers, located at 2 and 4 o’clock. One more pusher, featured at 8 o’clock, governs the function of the Regate timer.
The aforementioned Regate timer is skillfully arrayed on the extremity of the eye-catching dial. Performed in black and blue, it features contrasting hour-markers and daring Arabic numerals at 4, 8 and 12 o’clock.
Sweeping smoothly over them are partially transparent light-toned steel hands, pointing to hours and minutes. The passage of seconds is marked by a black and red slim hand. The fourth central hand is black and white, tipped with a red arrow. It is provided for the Regate timer.
The display also ensures a flyback chronograph function, presented through the counters at 10 and 2 o’clock. Additionally, the new Tambour Regate Navy Automatic Flyback chronograph watch offers a date indication, which appears in the aperture at 6 o’clock.
Keeping the timepiece perfectly on track is a Swiss-made automatic flyback chronograph movement - LV Caliber 171. It uses a Dubois Depraz engine as its base and incorporates an additional yachting timer module. The mechanism described supplies a 42-hour power reserve.
The model is teamed with a black rubber strap. The issue of the new Louis Vuitton watch is strictly limited to 250 pieces.
