With the presentation of the new Geograph chronograph watch, the house of Louis Moinet supports its reputation of offering the best.
Inspired by the activity of the famous adventurer James Cook and the Montgolfier brothers, the pioneers in human flight, the new Louis Moinet watch successfully brings together superior craftsmanship and the mesmerizing world of exploration.
The model is embodied in a matt and polished 316L stainless steel case, which has a diameter of 45.5 mm. It features a top double sapphire crystal, with double glare-proofed treatment. The case is also equipped with a numbered and engraved screw-down back. The timepiece is 50-meter water-resistant.
Embraced by the case is a white dial, embellished with a Cotes-du-Jura guilloche pattern.
It ensures central hour, minutes and chronograph seconds as well as 24-hour second time zone with day (gold) and night (blue) indications. The blue hands travel over applied facetted hour markers.
The display of the new Louis Moinet Geograph watch also comprises 12-hour, small seconds and 30-minute counters, located at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock respectively. The date indication appears in the aperture at 9 o’clock.
All the functions are brought to life by a self-winding movement. Adorned with 25 jewels, it beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 48-hour power reserve.
The new Louis Moinet watch is mounted on a black alligator leather strap, enhanced with a 316 stainless steel folding clasp.
