Louis Erard Sportive Chronograph BMC Watch - Uncompromising Quality

Jul 14, 2011
The horological company Louis Erard has joined forces with the high-end bicycle manufacturer BMC to develop its new Sportive Chronograph BMC watch.

The new Louis Erard watch is created utilizing the best Swiss watchmaking traditions and blending them with exclusive design and timeless aesthetics. The novelty is delivered in a round-shaped 42mm case. It is rendered in black PVD-treated stainless steel. The case carries a bezel, equipped with a tachymeter scale.

The top of the model is shielded by a glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 100 meters.

The new Louis Erard Sportive Chronograph BMC watch shows off a black dial. Completed with contrasting Arabic numerals, it offers central hours and minutes. The small seconds tick away in a counter at 9 oclock.

The chronograph features are presented through a 30-minute sub-dial at 12 oclock, 12-hour counter at 6 oclock as well as a central seconds hand, dressed in red. All the sub-dials are also outlined in red.

The day and date indications appear in the exhibition windows at 3 oclock. Driving the functions is a self-winding mechanical ETA Valjoux 7750 movement.

Issued in a limited edition of 200 pieces, the new Louis Erard watch is mounted on a black rubber strap.
